CSWE Europe Day Events at NUI Maynooth on 12 May 2010

EUROPE DAY EVENTS AT NUI MAYNOOTH on 12 MAY 2010:
* 2.30-4.00pm (NUI Library): NUIM, TCD and UCD will hold an Opportunities Fair for European Studies in the library of NUI Maynooth. This will be of interest to many students within your departments, please circulate as widely as possible.
* 4.00-4.30pm (Renehan Hall): Krzysztof Jaskulowski and Tomasz Kamusella will launch 'Nationalism across the Globe', a book series that publishes monographs, conference proceedings, and collections of articles. It attracts well-researched, often interdisciplinary, studies which open new approaches to nationalism and ethnicity or focus on interesting case studies. Volume I, Nationalisms Today will be officially launched by Professor R.V. Comerford.
* 4.30-5.00pm (Renehan Hall): Dr Antonaeta Dimitrova (Leiden University, Netherlands) will deliver a talk on 'Europe, European Union Enlargement and its Limits'.
*5.00-6.00pm (Renehan Hall): Europe Day Reception with special guest, Mr John Bruton, former Taoiseach and EU Ambassador to the United States of America. Professor John Hughes, President of NUI Maynooth, will officially welcome guests to NUIM and open the reception.
