The Department of English, Partium Christian University,
Oradea, Romania
is pleased to announce
the Third International Conference on
CENTRAL EUROPE AND
THE ENGLISH-SPEAKING WORLD
to be held between
15-17 May 2009
Following the great success of the first two conferences, the organizers invite again scholarly papers which investigate the interrelationships and interactions between the countries and cultures of Central Europe and the English-Speaking World in any walk of life including the arts and sciences, languages and literatures, history and economics, politics and sociology. The conference is primarily designed to bring together all those scholars, students and experts whose main professional aim is to build an intellectual bridge of better understanding between Central Europe and the English-Speaking countries. Selected papers will be published in The Roundtable, the electronic journal of the department.
