IRCHSS Funding Schemes Now Open

Scheme 1 - Post-Graduate Scholarship 2009-10
Scholarships are valued at up to €16,000 per annum. They will be awarded initially for one year, but subject to terms and conditions, are renewable for up to two additional years. Fees will also be covered for the period of the Scholarship. Those who are undertaking taught programmes, or degrees where a thesis is a minor part of the programme, are not eligible.
In the 2009/2010 Scheme, the Conflict Resolution Unit of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has commissioned the IRCHSS to fund and manage a number of scholarships in thematic areas related to Conflict Resolution (http://www.dfa.ie/). Scheme 2 - Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2009-10
Applicants should be, or expect to be affiliated with a recognised higher-level institution during the academic year 2009/2010. Permanent members of staff in third-level institutions are not eligible. The Fellowships are valued at up to €31,745 per annum. This Scheme is open to applicants of any nationality.
